Manuka Honey UMF26+

Manuka honey is unique to New Zealand and to obtain pure Manuka honey is a specialised task for beekeepers. Manuka honey is more difficult to extract and has a limited harvest period as it is only collected at certain times of the year in a short 2-6 week time frame.   The health benefits of Manuka honey create high demand for this unique product from around the world.

Manuka honey has been shown to have excellent benefits for the skin. Genuine Manuka honey is the perfect natural alternative for helping manage acne and skin infections. Methylglyoxal (or MG) is one of the chemical markers used to indicate the level or rating of Manuka honey.  This is the chemical that was identified originally as giving Manuka honey its unique antibacterial characteristics.
